Mental Healthcare Navigation Team (MHNT)

The mental healthcare system can be hard to navigate. NAMI New Orleans is here to assist you with the the Mental Health Navigation Team (MHNT).

The MHNT provides a streamlined connection to information and services provided by NAMI New Orleans and other community partners.  If you are an individual or family member with a pressing need related to a serious mental illness, contact the MHNT for personal, supportive, and professional assistance.

If you need immediate assistance after hours, please contact one of the crisis hotlines listed below.  If you or your loved one are experiencing a life-threatening mental health emergency, call 911. Tell them you are having a “mental health emergency” and ask for a Crisis Intervention Team Officer.
